To Have God Manifest In Your Midst,

You Must Break From The Past,

And Lay A New Foundation

In Righteousness.

16 No one puts a piece of unshrunk cloth on an old garment; for the patch pulls away from the garment, and the tear is made worse. 17 Nor do they put new wine into old wineskins, or else the wineskins break, the wine is spilled, and the wineskins are ruined. But they put new wine into new wineskins, and both are preserved."

Matthew 9:16-17

1 "Listen to Me, you who follow after righteousness,

You who seek the LORD:

Look to the rock from which you were hewn ,

And to the hole of the pit from which you were dug.

2 Look to Abraham your father,

And to Sarah who bore you;

For I called him alone,

And blessed him and increased him."

Isaiah 51:1-2

The mistakes many make are:

· Continuing the old ways of doing things, and feeling that it does not matter.

· Combining the old ways and the new ways. This is where there is great problem, because almost all the churches are still practising pagan practices inherited from the predecessors, without knowing that such practices are pagan in origin.

· Building on an existing evil foundation. For example:

o Erecting buildings on lands not delivered from abominations.

o Building churches on evil lands without first purifying the lands.

o Building house in places where there were shrines or charms, without first disabling and removing the idols and charms.

· Using items belonging to the Devil or marine spirits, and still count yourself as on the Lord’s side. That is why many are hypocrite without knowing it.

· Doing things the way the evil spirits want and still believe that you are serving the living God. For example, so many ladies appear in marine dresses in the name of fashion, thinking that it does not matter. This is very dangerous. And so many more and more are putting tattoos on their bodies despite warnings from God that He does not want such from His people. You cannot be eating from the table of Satan and still expect God to count you among His people.

Dissociate yourself from everything evil,

and from things you do not know their origin.

That is why Jesus said it is better to enter the kingdom with one hand,

than to have two hands and be cast into the hell fire.

Again, He said what shall it profit a man if he gains the whole world,

but lose his soul to the hell fire? Nothing, but woes.

Make a break with the past, and learn new ways.

Ask yourself, “What does God want from me?”

Then, you must let the Holy Spirit direct your footsteps.
